THE TIMES ABOVE ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A WILD GUESS. I LIVE ABOUT 2 MILES THIS SIDE OF SLAPOUT, AL(that's 25 miles and 31 traffic lights, 1 caution light, 2 Stop Signs, and 1 yield sign from the shop) Traffic on 231 can be BAD, and most days it is. This is Why Trying To be FIRST may NOT! be your best option.
I have been known to be sneak out early on Saturday. I try to make my self stay to 1:00 pm. After 1:00pm, I use the 10 minute rule. If I have an empty shop after 10 minutes, I close, and It can be a QUICK 10 minutes and a Quick 1:00pm ....as long as people give me money, I stay at work.

THE PHONE IS TURNED OFF AT 5:00PM every day and off all day SATURDAY.
I WILL BE CLOSED CHRISTMAS EVE AND CHRISTMAS DAY, THANKSGIVING, THE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AFTER, 4th OF JULY, NEW YEARS EVE AND NEW YEARS DAY AND KIRK APPRECIATION DAY. THERE WILL BE A FEW SATURDAYS THROUGH THE YEAR (maybe 3,4 or 5......who knows) THAT I WILL BE AT A WEDDING,FUNERAL, RECITAL of SOME KIND , or other FAMILY Stuff THAT IS NOT PLANED.
Everyone wants to know.......When is the best Time to Just Walk in and get a HairCut. FIRST AND LAST IS NOT IT!!! It seems Like some people just have to be first....even if it means getting here almost an hour EARLY!!!!!!Then you have the people that just have to be LAST!!!! Around 2:30 I get the" I'm going to beat the school kids" crowd. And then......yep!!......the school kids...I go from Discussing The Weather ,water table(old people like to measure the rain for some reason), World War II, why everyone is leaving Montgomery, GAS PRICES, What they seen on FOX news. Then the working people get off.... Then I get to talk about Traffic, divorce, kids, Sports, How much money they spend on Private School, When are you going to open a shop in Prattville or Wetumpka so it will be closer for them, How I have it made because I'm my own boss......Oshitodear. ..Then comes the procrastonaters. The phone starts ringing....How long are you going to be there? How many are in front of me? Can you still get me? I'll be there....about that when is the best time......The busiest times seem to be TUESDAY MORNINGS, FRIDAY EVENINGS, AND SATURDAYS!!!!!!! SATURDAY IS A TRADITIONAL HAIRCUT DAY FOR ALOT OF PEOPLE. THE PEOPLE THAT COME ON SATURDAY, MOST OF THEM ONLY COME ON SATURDAY. Seems to be a lot of Old people and a lot of small kids, and They drive each other crazy.....NO SLOW TIME ON SATURDAY!!!! . Unless AUBURN or ALABAMA are playing FOORBALL. Divorced people get their kids on weekends too......Its a fun active day for me, but it may not be for you.....The Phone is off on on saturday. Because If I see a chance.......I'm outahere!!!!!!.......OOOOOO.......When is the best time to Get Here?.......Ya Never Know FIRST AND LAST IS NOT IT!!!
